Sweet Escapes Bakery

I am the owner and creator of Sweet Escapes.  I am a full-time working mother to my two wonderful children, Julius & Alexis and wife to Greg.  I do work a full-time job and decorate cakes and cookies on the side. 

Baking has always been a part of my life, ever since I can remember.  Growing up my mother would bake and decorate cakes and cookies for church functions, baby showers, and birthdays.  I really dove into decorating when my son turned 3; I couldn’t find a local bakery or grocery store with a cake to my liking so I decided to make my own and from there I have not looked back.  I am completely self taught and am continuously getting new tips and techniques from wonderful bakers/decorators from all over the world.

I truly do enjoy designing and creating one-of-a-kind cakes and treats.  Adding a personalized touch to a cake is always special and something I feel is very important.  I know how much I enjoy making my children’s birthday cakes and I wanted to share that feeling with others. I enjoy coming up with new designs and am anxious to always do more.  I started making my own cakes to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.  That's what I will do for you.  I will work closely with you to make sure I make the cake of your dreams.
